A Chinese fishing boat collided with a South Korean cargo freighter and sank in waters off South Korea's southern island of Jeju, leaving two survivors and five sailors missing, the local coast guard said.
當地海岸防衛隊說，一艘中國漁船與南韓貨輪在濟州島外海發生撞擊後沉沒，兩人獲救五名船員失蹤。

An unidentified 30-ton Chinese fishing boat collided with the 6,049-ton South Korean cargo ship Bright Ace about 370 kilometers (230 miles) southwest of Jeju at 8:40 a.m., the Jeju Coast Guard said on its Web site
濟州海岸防衛隊表示，在早上8點40分時，濟州島西南方370公里處，一艘不明的30噸中國漁船與6049噸的貨輪Bright Ace發生撞擊。

Two crewmen drifting among the debris were immediately rescued by the South Korean freighter. The Jeju Coast Guard dispatched two rescue patrol boats to the area to search for the missing sailors, with the help of the freighter and several other Chinese fishing boats in the area, it said.

The South Korean ship was bound for Singapore, carrying 6,000 tons of steel after leaving South Korea's southern port of Masan on April 3.
